The Winds of Change

The winds of change are afoot. I have always wanted to use that phrase and now seemed like the most opportune time to do so. For the past four years I have been focused primarily on end user computing and desktop virtualization at Quest Software, and then at Dell following the acquisition. My time with these two companies has been great. I got to be a subject matter expert and evangelist for an amazing product, vWorkspace. That product will always hold a special place in my heart. I joined the Quest Software team after a long history of being a Citrix subject matter expert. When I realized what vWorkspace could do and learned it was a bit of an underdog, I took the challenge of helping make it a widely adopted, enterprise class solution head on. I could not be more pleased with how far it has come. But not everything lasts forever, right? On Monday I will be closing that chapter and changing things up a bit.

I am happy to say I have joined the SolarWinds team as a product manager for Virtualization Manager. Just like when I joined Quest, this is another great opportunity for me that I could not pass up. I am extremely excited to focus my knowledge and talents on virtualization as a whole, and whatever else my new boss decides to throw at me. Once I get settled in, you will see some new things from me on here regarding the new products I will be involved with. I am sure most of my initial new posts will be some good old fashion evangelizing. You will also be able to find me on thwack for official product communications as soon as I get signed up.
